About Lois Channon
Lois is a solicitor and heads up our Wills, Trusts and Probate department.
She understands the importance of ensuring loved ones are looked after not only during your lifetime but also after death. Lois is very empathetic to sensitive circumstances and guides her clients every step of the way.
Lois provides a friendly, straightforward and pragmatic approach to giving legal advice.
She acts for a wide range of clients including high net worth individuals when dealing with complex Wills, Inheritance Tax planning and Asset Protection. This includes the creation and administration of trusts.
She also deals with estates of all values assisting families when loved ones have passed away. Lois further specialises in Lasting Powers of Attorney and applications to the Court of Protection for Deputyship Orders.
Lois a member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE) and an affiliate member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
When not at work she likes to spend time with her family, dog and friends. Lois also enjoys Spinning, walking in the Lake District and going to the Theatre.
We have been long time clients of Salehs although hadn't dealt with them for some years. It was after the sudden passing of my father that we required the services of Salehs again. Lois was our first point of call in dealing with a complex IHT calculation. Lois, with sensitivity to our bereavement, was able to navigate with historic paperwork and gain answers to a number of questions which required further investigation. She handled all correspondence and tax calculations on our behalf and directly liased with HMRC on our behalf. As our world was literally turned upside down it was a relief to have Lois and Salehs looking after this side of things, and we are very pleased to say all is now completed and to a high standard. We appreciate the help and would always look to use Salehs again in the future.
