About Elliott Moran
Elliott is an apprentice solicitor currently working four days a week while he studies for his law degree and to pass the Solicitors Qualifying Examination.
He joined Commercial and Business Lawyers in 2018 as an administration apprentice and quickly developed a keen appreciation for the work which surrounded him. At the end of his first apprenticeship, he progressed to apprentice legal executive, studying for CILEx and obtaining his Level 3 Diploma in Law and Practice. He then decided to become an apprentice solicitor in January 2022 and is due to complete his degree and to pass the solicitors qualifying exams and be admitted in 2028.
Elliott’s practice areas so far include commercial property, company law, business sales and purchases and private client. He enjoys being involved in transactions involving property and corporate work and is developing his knowledge of commercial practice. Elliott interest in the law is only becoming stronger as his apprenticeship continues.
He has a thorough grasp of company secretarial procedures and was responsible for pioneering work via a new area of company practice registering upwards of a dozen companies in the new Overseas Entities Register. He has been at the forefront of developing the expertise of the practice as Companies House evolves into its new role as a regulator of corporate bodies, as well as a depository of documents that must be published.
