About Catherine Allen
Catherine qualified as a licensed conveyancer in 2005 and specialises in residential conveyancing.
She joined the secured lending department at Salehs Solicitors LLP in January 2019 and at the end of July 2020 she returned to residential conveyancing. Her conveyancing expertise includes registered and unregistered house and flat sales and purchases for private owner/occupiers and buy to let investors, shared equity, new build purchases, Help to Buy equity mortgages and Help to Buy ISAs, remortgages, solar panel leases, reconstitution of lost deeds and adverse possession.
Before she qualified as a licensed conveyancer, she worked as a legal secretary for over 20 years across all legal departments and took a career break between 1995 and 1999 to go to University where she obtained a degree in Economic and Social History and an MA in Heritage Management. She is interested in early medieval history and Celtic and Norse folklore.
