About Brian Drewitt
For 20 years Brian specialised in international dispute resolution, practising or working in the City of London, Nigeria, Germany and Hong Kong. For 35 years he built up Commercial and Business Lawyers, dealing with all aspects of commercial law, which merged into Salehs in 2025.
Brian is respected for his wide knowledge and depth of experience in all aspects of commercial law and his extensive cross frontier experience. He is well placed to give strategic advice to both large and small businesses in respect of both contentious and non-contentious matters, enabling them to deal with future legal problems as and when they arise.
Apart from being admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales in 1970, Brian was admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong in 1985 and became a Notary Public there in 1987. He is a retired Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, has been the Chairman of the Northwest Branch and was a founder and for many years the Chairman of the Northern Arbitration Association.
He has worked professionally in more than a dozen counties, some of which he has visited more than a dozen times.
