Simon Bowden

Simon is a residential conveyancer with over ten years of experience handling all manner of residential property transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfer of equity and shared ownership. He is happy to assist anyone in their property transaction and takes a proactive approach to completing the transaction efficiently whilst providing clear advice to clients.

Background & Experience

Simon graduated from the University of Stirling in 2012 and immediately started working as an administrative assistant in a small Manchester law firm. After a few years of assisting small and medium sized business in banking disputes, he started to specialise in residential conveyancing in 2016. He then joined one of the largest law firm networks in the country and gained experience in all manner of residential conveyancing transactions. As part of a growing team, Simon worked his way up to becoming a fee earner and helped mentor the newer members of the team. Simon joined Salehs in 2022.

Simon has over ten years of experience managing an extensive and varied caseload. Typically, he will act in sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties but is also experienced in more complex transactions, including new build purchases and shared ownership properties. Throughout his career, Simon has acted on the full range of residential transactions including remortgages, transfer of equity, lease extensions and retirement properties.

Simon believes the best way to make the house buying experience as smooth as possible is to keep clients informed about their transaction with regular updates and providing straightforward advice.

Outside of Work

Outside of work, Simon enjoys running and his biggest achievement is completing a marathon. He volunteers at his local running club to help the sessions run smoothly and safely.
