Hannah Toogood is a solicitor in our Private Client Team. She is known for her approachable manner and commitment to client care. Hannah works closely with clients, taking the time to understand their needs and provide practical, straightforward advice at every stage.
Background & Experience
Hannah studied Law with Criminology at the University of Manchester.
She joined Salehs in 2022 and spent two years working as a property and private client paralegal. She was then awarded a Training Contract and completed her training with the firm while studying for an LLM and the Legal Practice Course. Hannah qualified as a solicitor in 2025 and remained with our Private Client Team.
Expertise
Hannah advises on a wide range of private client matters, including wills, estate planning, trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney and estate administration. She is known for her thorough will drafting and takes the time to ensure her clients have clarity and confidence in their estate planning. She advises on a range of family trusts, including Right to Occupy Trusts, Life Interest Trusts and Discretionary Trusts. Hannah also handles complex inheritance tax matters, specialist probate registry applications and full estate administrations.

Hannah works with clients at every stage of life, including newlyweds, first-time homeowners, business owners, single parents, growing families, empty nesters and retirees. She also supports clients with a wide range of family dynamics, from close-knit and blended families to individuals with limited or no family support network.
She takes the time to understand each client’s personal circumstances, priorities and long-term goals, providing clear, practical and tailored advice. Hannah also works closely with recently bereaved clients, guiding them through the probate process and easing the burden of estate administration during an already difficult time.
Outside of Work
Hannah enjoys spending time with friends, discovering new bakeries and sushi restaurants. She enjoys unwinding with fantasy novels and board games, and often spends her free time crocheting new outfits and creative projects. She also regularly travels to visit her family and spend quality time with them.
