Fergal Farrell is Head of the Private Client Department and is one of the firm's most experienced solicitors, having dedicated more than four decades to helping individuals and families plan for the future and navigate some of life's most important and sensitive legal matters.
Background & Experience
Fergal trained with a leading Manchester city centre law firm before qualifying as a solicitor in 1984.
In 1987, he founded his own legal practice in Didsbury, which he successfully led and developed for over two decades. Under his leadership, the firm established an excellent reputation for high-quality legal advice and exceptional client service. In 2011, his practice merged with Salehs, bringing with him a wealth of expertise and a loyal client base built over many years.
Known for his calm, practical advice and reassuring manner, Fergal takes the time to understand each client's personal circumstances, providing clear guidance without legal jargon. Clients value his ability to explain complex issues in a straightforward way, making what can often feel like daunting legal processes as simple and stress-free as possible.

Away from the office, Fergal enjoys spending time outdoors, particularly countryside walks with his Sprocker Spaniel, Lola. He also enjoys catching up with his children and making the most of family life.
