Elliott Moran

Elliott Moran is an Apprentice Solicitor at Salehs. Starting as an administrative assistant fresh from college in 2018, Elliott has remained in the legal profession ever since and is steadily progressing in ability and knowledge.

Background & Experience

Elliott began his career at a small commercial firm in Stockport, joining to assist in the clerical side of the business. He was promoted to paralegal after fourteen months and was offered the opportunity of a CILEx education. He obtained his Level 3 diploma two years later, when he was then offered a solicitor apprenticeship. All going to plan, Elliott qualifies as a solicitor in 2028.

Expertise

Elliott has built up a specialism in land registration law and the practice surrounding Land Registry work. He enjoys dealing with complex title matters and finding solutions to “edge cases” where the answer is not necessarily clear-cut. He maintains and manages the commercial property post-completions for the firm.

He also has a foundational understanding of commercial property practice, dealing with a caseload of acquisitions, disposals, leases and refinances under appropriate supervision.

Working With…

Elliott assists a diverse client base, consisting of individuals, companies, trustees (both charitable and pension-related) and overseas entities. He values pragmatism and prides himself on adapting advice and practice to each client individually.

Outside of Work

As you are reading this, Elliott is probably planning his next travel experience. Otherwise, he can be found catching up on current events or spending time with friends. He speaks elementary level German and wants to improve, and not solely for the beer festivals.
