Alan Hawkes

Alan Hawkes is an experienced Practice Manager at Salehs Solicitors.

Alan’s responsibility is to manage the business effectively and efficiently, creating, implementing and monitoring processes and procedures for the smooth running of the firm.

Background & Experience

Alan is our first point of contact with our regulatory body and has the responsibility to ensure that we act in accordance with guidelines set out for solicitors to safeguard our client’s interests. As such he is also our Complaints Manager.

Expertise

As the Practice Manager of the Firm Alan has vast experiencing in dealing with clients. Managing their problems or queries that they may have with processes and procedures. Alan has excellent project management expertise, having managed the acquisition and integration of a number of Firms acquired by Salehs over the last 20 years.

Working with… 

Alan’s day to day activities are primarily helping colleagues achieving their goals. This may be giving advice on adhering to SRA rules and regulations, Anti Money Laundering to simply helping with helping with IT issues.

Outside of Work

Outside work, Alan tries to keep fit by playing badminton. As an allotment holder, he grows his own fruit and vegetables, which takes up much of his time all year round. An Everton FC supporter in a Manchester based Firm he finds himself in a minority when it comes to football.
